PCB file format was developed for purposes related to electronics. PCB is a text file that stores a project of printed circuit board. The solution guarantees proper board layout and connections between the board's components. Finished projects are then used in PCB manufacturing process. The most widely used file format for PCB manufacturing is called Gerber. When manufacturers request 'Gerbers' or 'Gerber files,' they basically look for ASCII files that contain Gerber-formatted data. Install a universal file viewer like File Magic (Download) and see if it will open your PCB file. Remember that if your file is not compatible, the universal file viewer will only open it in binary format.
Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and Design (CAD) software for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Prototyping, supporting Gerber, Excellon Drill files, Gcode and Visualization. Support is provided for.pro,.sch,.kicadpcb and.lib file formats new 2D PCB Measurements Take measurements between two points of interest, directly from within the PCB data view Gerber File Viewer View and inspect your gerber and drill files ensuring everything is correct before sending your PCB.
